This hut is built at the V-shaped cut in the mountain ranges as known as the Hachimine Killet. This trail is one of the most difficult paths of the rear Tateyama long traverse trail.
Because it is in a difficult place, it is also the base for the stationed rescue members who work to ensure the safety of climbers.
Even if you would not be staying at this hut, you should feel free to stop by for a weather check.
