Using a taxi from JR Oito Line Toyoshina Station or Hotaka Station, start at Ichino-sawa Trailhead. There is a hut built at Jonen-nokkosi, which is on the ridgeline leading from Mt. Otensyo-dake to Mt. Jonen-dake.
Jonen range , including Mt. Jonen, is known as the perfect viewing platform for the Yari and Hotaka Mountains, and you can enjoy the view from the observation room built in the cabin.
Opened in 1919, it is the oldest in the huts of the southern ridge of in the Northern Alps. It is said that it was originally used as a route to Mt.Yari-gatake
