It is on the route that connects Mt. Akaishi-dake and Mt. Hijiri-dake, and can not be reached from any trailhead without first passing the peaks.
For groups of 5 or more people, advance reservations are required, as the capacity is limited.
The building is four stories, unusual for a mountain hut. There are guest rooms above the reception on the second floor, and there is a self-catering room and a toilet on the first floor, you can rest at ease.
