This is a hidden hot spring that has been open only for one-day bathing since March 2020. The water, which is 100% free-flowing, changes color from clear to green to cloudy depending on the weather and temperature, and is also known as the “hot spring of the seven wonders” because of an anecdote that more than 1,300 years ago, Emperor Kouken came to the temple and prayed to the gods, and the hot spring gushed forth and cured all illnesses.
