Nakano-yu Onsen Ryokan
Founded in 1915, it is the only inn in Kamikochi that is open all year round. The current location, which was newly built and relocated in 1998, offers a view of the Hotaka mountain range,and is close to the trailhead of the Shin-Nakanoyu route, making it a convenient base for climbing Mt. Yake-dake. The Onsen, which has an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a cave bath are fed by a simple sulfur Onsen. The chef is also proud of his homemade wild vegetable dishes and hot pots.
