Southern Alps Akaishi Onsen Shirakabaso
The water is alkaline with a pH of 9.5, and is a simple sulfur spring with the scent of sulfur and floating hot water droplets. It is said to be effective for smooth skin, joint pain, and diabetes. On a clear day, there is a spectacular view of Mount Chausu-dake. beyond Lake Hata-nagi. The facility is operated by the city, and accommodations are reasonable.
