The inn is located on a roadside street just outside the center of Tsumago, which is one of the most popular towns along the long Nakasendo route from Edo to Kyoto. The inn is a two-story building with a latticed window and a sliding door, which are common in this area and add to the feeling of being a traveler in the Edo period. If you ask when you make a reservation, they will prepare a room where you can eat, and it is a nice service to be able to eat at your own pace without worrying about being seen.
