I mainly guide people through the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route as a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter, and within that area, I recommend Murodo in particular. Rather than simply passing through, I hope you will enjoy getting a real feel for the dynamic mountains on snowshoes in spring or trekking in summer or autumn while searching for the elusive rock ptarmigan.
