【Tanohara trailhead for Ontake mountains O’taki guchi route】
This is the route gate from Otaki Village to Ontake mountains, further to the top Ontake 2240 ski resort, the route starts at an elevation of 2,190 meters.This route has been climbed as a path of religious climbing since ancient times. On the way, stop by the Ontake Shrine Satomiya located near the center of Otaki Village to pray for safety.The parking lot in Tanohara is spacious and has plenty of room. There is a visitor center just before the trailhead, so stop by and learn more about the mountain before climbing.
