【Menokami Chyaya, Suzuran Pass: Trailhead for Mt. Tateshina and Mt. Hachi-gamine】
Tateshina trailhead on the Tateshina side of the Venus Line and Suzuran Pass, which is the pass from Tateshina to Shirakaba Lake, at the Menokami Chyaya.
Basic access to the site is by car, during the summer, there are only two bus services a day, one to Chino and the other to Shirakaba Lake.
If you use this bus, you can use this trailhead only for ascent or descent.
During the season, if you are staying the night before in the Shirakaba Lake area, there may be accommodations that will provide transportation. Please consult with the lodge.
