Access to Sumise / Hagoromo

【The trailhead to Mt. Shichimen-san】

Shichimen-san, the sacred mountain of Nichiren Shumon, can be reached by two routes from the valley of the Haruki River, a tributary of the Fuji River in Hayakawa Town: Omote-sando (main approach) and Kita-sando (north approach). Public transportation is by bus from JR Minobu Station or Shimobe Onsen Station. By car, take the Chubu-Odan Expressway and get off at the Shimobe Onsen IC. Hagoromo has parking spaces for several cars next to the trail and two locations a short distance away, each with about 10 cars.
