Access to Shin-hotaka-Ropeway

【Shin-hotaka-Ropeway / Trailhead for Mt. Yari-gatake, Hotaka Mountains, Mt. Yake-dake, Mt. Kasa-gatake, Mt. Washiba-dake & Mt. Suisho-dake】

Located on the west side of the Hotaka Mountain Range is the Shin-hotaka Ropeway (Oku Hida Onsenkyo) trailhead.
This will  be the shortest route to Mt. Yari-gatake and the Hotaka Mountains.
※The ropeway may be suspended due to construction or inspection. Please check in advance.

Access is from the Tokyo side of Kamikochi, across the tunnel of Anbosu, with bus service via Hirayu Onsen.
How to get in from Matsumoto from Osaka and Nagoya.
There is a way to use a bus service from Takayama, and it does not seem to change much over time. Take a flight from Haneda to Toyama and then a bus service directly from Toyama Airport to Shinhotaka Ropeway（This bus is currently out of service）.

Parking lot: Public 3rd free parking lot
There are several parking lots, but the parking lots that mountain climbers can use are here.
Space for approximately 250 cars.
Free of charge. You will have to walk 10 minutes to the station / mountain entrance.
