Access to Renge Onsen

【 Renge Onsen／Trailhead to Shirouma-dake, Yukikura-dake, Asahi-dake 】

It is Renge Onsen trailhead to Mt. Shirouma-dake via Hakuba Oike & Mt. Sho-renge-san where there is a secluded hot spring.
Originally, it is a trailhead in the Alps, which is the most difficult to access from the downtown area, and if it is by car, it will be a great distance and take plenty of time regardless of where you get on the Hokuriku Expressway, Joshinetsu Road, Nagano Expressway. On the other hand, after the Hokuriku Shinkansen opens, convenience improves if it is a train. If you get off at Itoigawa, you can get there with one bus.

Saturdays and Sundays are crowded when using the parking lot, so please try to arrive early. If you are uneasy about stopping on the road, there is also a way to get to Renge Onsen by bus using the free parking lot in front of Hiraiwa Station.
Buses operate from late July to early October, but please be aware that they will only operate on weekends from the second half of August.
