Access to Oyashirazu

【Oyashirasu coast：Tsugaikai New Road terminus (starting point)】

Oyashirazu is the name of a place in this area, but because the road was not well maintained in the old days when the cliffs were sheer, the path sometimes crossed between the waves, and one theory is that the cliffs and waves were so steep that parents could not look after their children and children could not look after their parents. It is said that the name of this place came from such a theory.
The trailhead is located along the national highway.
By public transportation, it is about an hour’s walk from Oyashirasu station, but there is a community bus once a week and a bus from Itoigawa during the summer vacation period.
