【Kannon-daira trailhead: for Mt. Amigasa-yama and Mt. Gongen-dake and Yatsu-gatake mountains main range including to Mt. Aka-dake】
Kannon-daira trailhead is the closest trailhead from the Tokyo metropolitan area. It is the base trailhead for the southern Yatsu-gatake Mountains.
Basically, it is approached by car, but in 2022, Hokuto City, North Face, and others have established a shared-ride service called “Mountain Taxi”.
Reservations are required, so please inquire if you plan to take the train.
