【Fujimi kogen trailhead for Yatsu-gatake mountains main range, including to Mt. Gongen-dake and Mt. Aka-dake from Amigasa-yama and Mt. Nishi-dake】
Fujimi Kogen GC is located before the trailhead, and the parking lot is on the left before the golf course. If you stop your car and go up the paved road for about 5 minutes a prefab for construction stands on the right hand side, and there is a simple toilet. This simple toilet is also available for climbers.
A little further on, there is a gate for the forest road, and after another 50 meters or so, there is a sign for the Fujimi trailhead.
If going by train, some climbers go up from Shinano-sakai Station on the JR Chuo Line instead of taking a cab.
The distance from Shinanosakai to Fujimi Kogen GC is about 6.5 km, and it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes for the ascent and 1 hour and 10 minutes for the descent.
