【Agematsu A route: Climb entrance to Mt. Kisokomagatake】

Kisokomagatake Agematsu A route is the Omotesando of Kisokoma-gatake Shrine.

Until the Senjo-gatake ropeway was built in Komagane City, the Kiso-Fukushima and Agematsu routes were common, and W. Weston also used this old route to climb Kisokoma-gatake.

A 20-minute taxi ride from Agematsu Station on the JR Chuo-Nishi Line will take you to the Alps Mountain Lodge where the trailhead is located.

If you are going by car, enter the mountain from the scenic spot 「Nezamenotoko」 on National Route 19.
