Access to Sawara-jima from Hatanagi Dam

【Hatanagi Dai-ichi Dam – Sawara-jima / Trailhead to Main range of Southern Alps, for Example Mt. Akaishi-dake, Mt. Warusawa-dake, Mt. Hijiri-dake etc.】

The long approach is taken from Shizuoka Station to the parking lot of the Hatanagi Dam. In addition it takes one hour by shuttle bus along the Oi River to Sawara-jima.
Please note that it takes time from the expressway exit of Shizuoka IC or Shimada IC by car.
In summer, we will stop at the temporary parking lot in front of the Hatanagi Dam.
This is the starting point for the bus to Sawara-jima.
In periods other than the summer, go to the Hatanagi No. 1 parking lot, a place beyond the dam.
One must take a bus to Sawara-jima in order to stay at a mountain hut managed by Tokai Forest, huts such as Sawara-jima, NikenKoya, Akaishi -sanso, etc.

Parking lot: Temporary parking lot capacity for approximately 200 vehicles.

Mobile is connected here, but it is better to think that the way ahead will not be connected.
