Born in Hokkaido in 1977. He encountered the rock ptarmigan and taught himself photography. Winner of the 4th Yukio Tabuchi Taketo Prize. He has since labeled himself a \u201crock ptarmigan photographer\u201d engaged in nature conservation enlightenment activities focused on the rock ptarmigan through photo exhibitions and other activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Born in Tokyo in 1979. From the time he was young he communed with nature through activities such as Boy Scouts and began living in a mountain hut as a university student. In addition to being the proprietor of the Norikura Hakuunso Inn, he is also engaged in activities as the manager of the nationally designated wildlife sanctuary, a nature guide at the national park, and a member of the municipal environment council.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Born in Tokyo in 1982. While a student at Shinshu University, he studied in the ecology research lab under leading rock ptarmigan researcher Hiroshi Nakamura. After joining the Ministry of the Environment, he became a nature conservation officer responsible for protection and breeding projects around the country. He is currently in charge of wildlife tourism promotion projects in the Wildlife Division of the Ministry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
