From the Suwa IC, head in the direction of Tateshina and proceed toward the Tsureishi Jomon Archaeology Museum on the way. After passing through the Mitsui Forest and turning left at the signboard for Karasawa Kosen, you will find a dirt road, and within 10 minutes, the parking strip for Karasawa Kosen will be on your right side.
\nFrom here, there are two routes: one route to climb the west ridge to Mt. Tengu-dake, the other route is straight ahead to Kuroyuri-daira.
\nUnfortunately, there is no public bus route to this trailhead, but buses can be taken to Shibu-gotenyu, one mountain over, so a possible route from Shibug-otenyu to Mt.Tengu-dake. It takes about one hour from Shibu-gotenyu.<\/p>\n
