Koshi Kagawa
I will guide you safely around Japan’s most difficult mountain, Mt. Tsurugi-dake
Mt. Tsurugi-dake has been a part of me ever since our first encounter when I was in the Mountaineering Club in university. I found a job with the Toyama Prefectural Police. I was a Mountain Guard in the Mountain Safety Division for 13 years involved in countless rescues in the Mt. Tsurugi-dake, Kurobe Gorge, and Mt. Yakushi-dake ranges. Guiding around Mt. Tsurugi-dake is my specialty.
I have climbed the southwest face of Alpamayo in South America (up to 5800 meters) (2013), the northwest ridge of Petite Verte, and the eastern face of Brevent in the European Alps (2017).
